Description
The addon to create cross-sections on selected objects.
Installation
For Blender 4.2 and newer:
- Drag and Drop the zip file into Blender
For Blender 4.1 and older:
- Open the Edit-> Preferences ->Add-ons
- Click on install button and point to the downloaded zip file.
- Add a check mark to enable the addon.
The add-on is instaled under ObjectMenu > Create sections
Usage:
Select the objects and click on Create Sections
A new option window opens with the following options to select the axis and interval
The cross-sections are created in separate collections.

Dynamic Sections:
Dynamic section on objects is possible by using Shader Nodes, as described in the following fig.
The Texture Coordinate is driven by the Empty Node. The transformation of the empty controls the section view.
